First dual duty doorbell that does what I wanted ! : Honeywell RCW3505N1000/N Decor Customizable BeechWood Door Chime
I had purchased an additional one wireless doorbell that claimed it could be installed either wireless (with the provided, battery powered button) or wired into your home doorbell system. Unfortunately there were no directions on how to do the "wired" install. The first unit I bought also had some reliability problems, prompting me to seek a good solution.
The Honeywell that I purchased did tell me how to make the connections to the wiring that was already in place and the first push of the button confirmed I had found what I had been finding for. I like that the wood comes unfinished so I could stain it to my color preference. The only thing I don't like is that with electronically reproduced chime sounds, it doesn't sound as nice as doorbells with metal chimes, but that's well a small gripe. There are any choices of tones (which you can't get with old-school doorbells) and they sound nearly real adequate that overall I have to say that I'm satisfied with this product.
